    Job Description:

    One of the country's fastest growing flooring companies, Star Floors, has an immediate opening in various markets nationwide  for an experienced Sales Professionals.  This position involves direct sales, building and maintaining annuity accounts and relationships, with the prospect of stepping into a position of leading, mentoring and supervising others.

    Flooring and Installation knowledge is REQUIRED. The successful candidate will be a self-starting individual able to problem solve effectively and take initiative. Candidates must be internally motivated, able to articulate the value of a service offering, and exude the confidence of a well-organized business professional comfortable interacting with end users and executives.  Solid flooring industry experience, outside sales experience, leadership skills, and a proven record of results is required.  

    Candidate must be comfortable and successful in seeking opportunities and making sales.

    Requirements:

    Minimum of 7 years of experience in the flooring industryAbility to accurately measure a home for flooring
    • Knowledge of flooring installation
    • Confidence in seeking and closing sales
     
    *College degree preferred.  
    *Management experience preferred.

    Flooring Installation Manager – Dallas/Fort Worth Opportunity Overview

    Job Description:

     The Installation Manager provides experienced, technical leadership and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the in-house installation network for Company and retail locations of Company. Managerial Responsibilities Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws in partnership with the Company Management team. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent, Associate’s degree in Business Management or related field preferred.
    • Five (5) or more years of installation supervisory or management experience • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Strong track record of resolving issues, problem solving, and a demonstrated commitment to customer service and satisfaction.
    • Steady work history; no job hoppers
    • Can pass a drug and background check

    • Broad and experienced knowledge base of labor and market costs in the mid to upper end remodeling sector.
    • Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations, or government law.
    • Understanding of plans, scope of work, budgets, schedules, material purchase orders, project logs, change orders, discrepancies and unusual conditions.
    • Experience with current and best practices in installation, latest technologies, and manufacturer’s installation guidelines, updates or revisions.

• Ability to adjust and re-prioritize work flow on a daily basis.

• Demonstration of the desire to see that each and every job is completed correctly with an attention to detail. • Competent in scheduling and organizing a high volume of projects.

• Professional, goal-oriented, and motivated with excellent organizational and leadership abilities.

• High level of interpersonal skills to handle situations with installers, customers, employees and management with intention and integrity.

• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively with other employees and represent Company in an effective way.

• Work Environment Travel required (approximately 5%).

• Primary travel in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, but may be called to attend industry or company function outside primary area. Must be available after hours and weekends should job site issues arise.

Bid Analyst

 

Job Description:

 

Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for reviewing, entering data regarding property measurements and creating floor diagrams using an estimating tool. Estimator ensures accuracy of all data and pays attention to details.

 


Requirements:

• Must be customer focused and strong team player.

• Knowledge of flooring business a plus.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Creates documents by entering data from source materials.

• Responsible for high production.

• Verifies documents for accuracy.

• Resolves customer issues and performs duties as assigned.

• Places calls to sub-contractors to obtain status on measure assignments.

• Excellent math skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other software applications on computer. Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent time management skills, detail oriented, ability to multi-task and have great customer service skills. • • Education: High School Diploma

 

Salary - $12.00 per hour
